Samples anyone?

On Saturday, Chef Jessica, represented for Washburne Culinary Institute and SoulBoricua at Crop Circles, a pop-up farmers market movement that seeks to take on the issue of urban food deserts. The event provided fresh fruits and vegetables to residents of the Englewood community, while encouraging and promoting healthy living. Neighborhood chefs showed residents how to prepare some of the fresh food they received through cooking demonstrations.

Chef Jessica was featured as one of the neighborhood chefs. Passing out over 100 free samples of the SoulBoricua "Avocado Melon Salad" and a "Grilled Pineapple Salad."
